VSP Interiors was founded in 2000 by designers Henriette von Stockhausen and Jane Petti. Since 2010, Henriette has led the company as Creative Director.
Henriette's background includes studying at the City & Guild of London Art Schools and earning a Master’s Degree from Sotheby’s Institute, where she developed a deep appreciation for antique furniture and decorative design from the 17th to 20th centuries. She furthered her education at the Inchbald School of Design and gained experience with top designers, including Stephen Ryan, former head of David Hicks Design. Henriette also worked in theatre design, which nurtured her creative versatility.
Henriette's early life in Germany, Italy, Austria, and Switzerland exposed her to diverse European cultures, enriching her knowledge of international architecture and arts. Her passion for listed buildings and craftsmanship is evident in her work, which often includes a blend of rich colours, interesting prints, and antiques to create warm, layered interiors.
VSP Interiors specialises in designing authentic interiors for listed buildings and architecturally significant homes in the UK and overseas. The team balances traditional craftsmanship with contemporary elements, creating dynamic and unique spaces. They work closely with local craftsmen and artisans to ensure custom, high-quality finishes.
