Meraki Design — whose name comes from the Greek word for doing something with love, care, and pride — was founded in 2013 by lifelong friends Eris Koutsoudakis and Maria Kachramanoglou.

 

Operating from studios in London and Athens, the duo leads a close‑knit team of five devoted to craftsmanship and timeless design.

Guided by the Meraki philosophy, their work pairs tactile, natural materials with meticulous detailing to create spaces that are functional, emotionally resonant, and concept‑driven. Eris shapes each project’s narrative and material palette, while Maria oversees technical delivery and on‑site implementation, ensuring flawless execution. With experience across high‑end residential, hospitality, and commercial projects, Meraki Design blends creativity with precision — re‑imagining layouts, celebrating authentic materials such as marble, wood, and lime plaster, and using light, bespoke joinery, and refined finishes to elevate every environment.
