Peter Page x Georgie Hopton: Contemporary Rug Design with an Artistic Edge

British rug studio Peter Page has partnered with contemporary artist Georgie Hopton to launch a new collection that redefines contemporary rug design in the UK. Launching in February 2026, the collaboration introduces a series of six handwoven flatweave runners, translating Hopton’s distinctive, nature-led visual language into a more tactile and architectural form.

Art Meets Interior Design

Known for her organic, rhythmic compositions using natural materials, Hopton’s work has been reimagined for the home. Rather than sitting on the wall, her patterns now move underfoot, becoming part of the everyday experience of interior spaces.

A Focus on Runners

Instead of a traditional rug collection, Peter Page has focused on runners, a format central to how we navigate kitchens, hallways and transitional spaces. Their linear form enhances flow within the home, offering a subtle yet impactful design feature for luxury interiors and modern British homes.

Craft, Material and Process

Each piece is handwoven in wool, chosen for its durability and natural character. Developed in collaboration with Peter Page’s in-house team, the collection balances precision with the organic variation that defines Hopton’s work.

A New Direction for Rug Design

The Peter Page x Georgie Hopton collection reflects a growing shift within UK interior design, where craftsmanship, collaboration and storytelling play a central role.

Designed to be lived with rather than simply admired, these runners offer a refined, quietly expressive foundation for contemporary interiors.
