In a collaboration that brings together heritage craftsmanship and contemporary sensibility, VSP Interiors has partnered with Oficina Inglesa to launch a new furniture collection rooted in classic English design.

Led by Creative Director Henriette von Stockhausen, VSP Interiors is known for its refined approach to historic homes—balancing antique pieces with modern comfort. This collaboration builds on that expertise, translating the elegance of traditional furniture into designs that feel relevant for today’s interiors.

At its core, the collection addresses a familiar challenge: how to retain the character and craftsmanship of antique furniture while adapting scale and proportion for contemporary living. Working closely with the artisans at Oficina Inglesa, the studio has reimagined classic forms—including four-poster beds, coronas, bedside tables and dining chairs—through a more considered, liveable lens.

Each piece is handcrafted to order, with an emphasis on flexibility and personalisation. The beds and coronas, in particular, are designed as a framework for drapery, allowing designers and clients to tailor fabrics, finishes and detailing to suit individual schemes—an approach that reflects the growing demand for bespoke interiors within the luxury residential sector.

Craftsmanship sits firmly at the heart of the collaboration. Traditional cabinet-making techniques are paired with thoughtful material innovation, such as the use of a sustainable, vegetable-derived fibre in place of horsehair for upholstery—maintaining comfort and integrity while responding to more conscious design practices.

The collection also introduces a series of exclusive finishes, developed specifically for the launch. From hand-painted surfaces to richly patinated wood, each treatment is designed to evoke the warmth and character of antique pieces while offering the consistency and durability required for modern use.

For PR and marketing professionals, the partnership highlights the continued relevance of heritage-led design—particularly when combined with a clear narrative and strong artisanal foundation. It also reflects a broader shift within interiors towards pieces that offer longevity, adaptability and a sense of story.

Ultimately, the VSP Interiors x Oficina Inglesa collection is about evolution rather than reinvention—honouring the language of classic English furniture while refining it for a new generation of homes.
